Weather

The weather at Canyon de Chelly is beautiful throughout the year. Humidity is usually low, with occasional monsoon rains in midsummer and snow typically starting in January. Springtime temperatures range from 30ºF to 80ºF (0-24ºC). Summer days at the Canyon are simply heavenly, almost always sunny with highs in the 80s and 90s (25-35ºC) and overnight lows in the 50s (10ºC and up). Autumn conditions are similar to spring, and in the winter, temperatures range from 15ºF to 65ºF (0-24ºC).
